If anything Waled enjoys most in his job, he enjoys making visions and dreams a reality. Along his 30 years journey in the Construction Management Sector, Waled has worked on the side of every possible stakeholder you find on a project; consultant side, contractor side, and owner side, thus he has gained deep insight on what makes projects progress smoothly, and what doesn’t. Waled is the CM/PM Service Leader at EdgeAllies, and he is responsible and hands-on construction management and supervision of medium and large projects.
Waled was project manager for Prince Sultan Cultural Center, Jeddah, a mix use project with an area of 2.4 million square meter, which included an artificial lake, a 350 bed hospital, residential towers and villas, boutique hotel, food and beverage lake front promenade, cultural center and museum building, commercial buildings, a shopping mall, a school, and the largest exhibition center in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, Waled delivered a 206 villa residential compound at Knowledge Economic City in Madina. Covering a wide spectrum of project types, Waled managed steel erection works for Aramco, delivered a $50 million military workshop project for the Ministry of Defense, and several commercial and residential buildings for a real estate company in New York, NY.
Waled earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Alexandria. Additional, he has earned a certificate in Construction Management from the UK, and has completed more than 13 construction related courses and training workshops. Waled is a member of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, Council of Engineers in Saudia Arabia, and various professional organizations.
