Designer and parametric architect, enthusiast about digital as design awareness enhancer and cognitive boundaries shifter, he has tailored digital planning and generative algorithms for the realization of non-standard projects at EdgeAllies. As a student he has won the Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 with the team RhOME for denCity, this experience gave him a great awareness of sustainability analysis and strategies in architecture. He is currently the BIM Manager of all locations of EdgeAllies, coordinating a team of over 30 people through the development of standards, BIM workflows and staff training. His aim is achieve the latest cutting-edge technologies in design collaboration, in order to provide the highest BIM quality content for the clients.
Two significant examples of where Matteo applied his skills in the design of King Abdulaziz Exhibition Center in Jeddah, 80’000sqm mixed used building hosting offices, media center and halls under a stretched roof surface designed by the French firm Architecture Studio, and the Redesign of Abha Regional Hub Airport, 77’000sqm Passenger Terminal Building.
Matteo is a qualified architect in Italy, and earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Architecture from the Università degli studi Roma Tre. He has received certification from Autodesk in Building Performance Analysis, and has published many articles and research.
