Mariacristina was graduated in Architecture in 2014 at Roma Tre University.
In her Master’s Degree Thesis she improved a workflow for a sustainable redevelopment of an Italian suburb. The aim of that work was to define sets and assessments of actions based on the GBC Neighborhood’s Validation and on the rating of good practices in the field of sustainable urban design, in order to achieve the Gold Certification. The design actions come from the detection of the critical issues of the existing condition, focusing on the rating’s claims that obtained the lowest scores and defining a design strategies schedule that brings together all the good practices solutions.
As a student, she worked as an intern in several architectural firms in Rome, such as Labics, collaborating on the interior design of Obikà Restaurant in London. During her academic experience, she has been a tutor of Revit Architecture at the Roma Tre University with Arch. Prof. Alberto Raimondi in his Master Course of Architectural Design.
Just graduated she started working as an interior designer in Rome and after obtaining the Autodesk Revit User certification as a BIM specialist in an engineering company.
Mariacristina joined the edgearch team in 2017 working in the Rome branch office to deliver the interior design renovation of the Lexus Showroom in Jeddah. Later on, she has focused more on the interior fit-out of office spaces as Wataniya Insurance Co. and the Royal Commission for Al Ula using a standardized BIM workflow.
